But, when it comes to conditions of the brain, such as psychosis, ADD, Epilepsy, and others, what is really known about what is going on? And is enough known about the conditions and alternate treatments to be able to make the best choices?

In these pages we hope to listen to evidence from each other and a variety of medical and scientific sources, to help us all ask the right questions and make more informed decisions about our mental health and the treatment we receive.

The field of mental health is particularly mysterious. Medication is inconsistent, frequently getting different responses from one person to the next. The brain is vast and complex and tiny changes in the chemical balance can result in major changes in behaviour or health.

And, because our brains are so unique, the results are so often unpredictable.
